Have you heard of the Nuit des Relais? A sporting event, a charity race, a festive evening: it's the race not to be missed if you love sport and want to do a good deed! For this new edition, the Nuit des Relais takes place on June 24, 2025, on the Place du Louvre, in the heart of Paris, in a more summery setting than usual.
The Nuit des Relais (Night of the Relays) is organized by the Fondation des Femmes. This festive race is an opportunity to raise awareness and funds to support " associations working in the field to advance women's rights and combat the violence they suffer ", explains Anne-Cécile Mailfert, President of the Fondation des Femmes.
The concept? Form teams of 5 to 10 participants(no more, no less), women or men over 18, and run in relays every 8 minutes for 2 hours on a 300m loop. Before taking part, each team will have to raise 1,000 euros in donations. The race is open to all: you can run or walk at your own pace, and the course is also accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Since 2016, Nuit des Relais has raised 1.2 million euros, helping thousands of women and associative projects. Need a little more challenge to motivate you for this race? Various prizes are awarded to participating teams, including the one for the highest number of donations, an ambiance prize, a costume prize, a collection prize...
There will also be concerts, sporting challenges, entertainment, a village of associations, a bar and food trucks. So there's nothing but good reasons to take part in this Nuit des Relais!
