Artificial Intelligence in the art world - that's what's in store for us in Paris, at the Grand Palais Immersif, with an exhibition-performance. Artificial Dream is back for another edition, and is set to take us to the heart of digital art, with works created with the help of AI. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening, from June 11 to July 16, 2025, we'll be there to discover the creations of various international artists, studios and collectives.
At a time when AI tools are multiplying, this technological revolution is feared by some, adored by others. By turns a source of fear and opportunity,Artificial Intelligence is spreading and showing the impact it can have on different aspects of society, from social networks to the medical field, from information to education. And what about the world of the arts? DoesAI threaten creation, or can it help push back the boundaries?
TheArtificial Dream exhibition will demonstrate the potential ofartificial intelligence in the service of the imagination. The exhibition, which takes place at night, promises a " spectacular immersive projection" in the main hall, as well as a series of installations on the upper floors. In all, 14 works of art are unveiled, promising to show both paradisiacal and nightmarish visions.
Once again this year, the exhibition featured works in keeping with the style of the various artists presented. If last year's exhibition was presented as a demonstration of AI as a new creative medium indigital art, showing that Artificial Intelligence could take its place in the artistic sphere by pushing back its limits, this year we find universes that explore and exploit this innovation for better or for worse.
A 40-minute projection in the main hall plunges us into radically different worlds, while upstairs other works await us in a variety of media. Two interactive works add a more participatory dimension to the exhibition, making the visitor an active participant. The exhibition is thus particularly aimed at digital art enthusiasts and the curious who, with or without preconceptions, wish to discover how Artificial Intelligence can become a support for certain artists. For those who have already been to the Grand Palais Immersif, it should be noted that this nocturne did not take advantage of the entire exhibition space, so the itinerary was relatively short.
